Article Processing Charge

Journix: Journal of Informatics and Computing does not charge any submission fee. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication after completing the editorial and peer-review processes.

APC Policy

  • Authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia: IDR 200,000 per accepted article.

  • Authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia: Free of charge (IDR 0).

The APC for authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia covers the editorial and publication process, including article processing, online publication, and DOI registration.

Plagiarism Screening

Authors are required to conduct a plagiarism or similarity check independently before submitting their manuscript. Authors are required to submit a plagiarism/similarity report generated using iThenticate or Turnitin at the time of manuscript submission. The report must be uploaded as a supplementary file during the submission process.

The plagiarism screening report is the responsibility of the author and is not included in the APC. Manuscripts submitted without the required plagiarism/similarity report may be returned to the author for completion before proceeding to the editorial evaluation stage.

The Editorial Team may conduct additional similarity verification when necessary to ensure compliance with the journal's publication ethics and originality standards.

Publication Process

Payment of the APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. Every manuscript submitted to Journix: Journal of Informatics and Computing must undergo the journal's standard editorial and publication procedures, including:

  1. Initial editorial screening and scope evaluation;

  2. Compliance check with the JOURNIX Author Guidelines;

  3. Plagiarism and similarity assessment using iThenticate or Turnitin;

  4. Peer-review process;

  5. Revision based on reviewers' and editors' recommendations;

  6. Final editorial decision;

  7. APC payment for authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia; and

  8. Copyediting, production, DOI registration, and online publication.

The APC is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. There are no additional publication charges beyond the APC stated above.
